- Try playing with the S191 register. This is the "EQM Automatic Rate
- Adaption Bias". If you set it to a value below 128 it won't require as
- much line quality for the same speed connection, but adjusting it too
- much may actually slow you down because of errors due to line noise. If
- you set it to a value above 128, it will require a better phone line to
- get the same speed connection. I would only adjust this a few points, or
- you'll be getting a lot of error, i.e. S191=126 could be good. S191=116
- would alter the necessary line quality to the point where it tries to
- fall-forward in speed at the usual fall-backward point.
